A renovation of a house of the 30s, originally organized in a traditional way with a long corridor that distributed the living area according to the kitchen / dining / living room / study sequence.
The project opens the sequence and organizes the space around a large bookcase - a container that crosses the space, acquiring various functions from time to time.
Made of microlamellar wood, this wall, built in place of a wall that over time had acquired a collaborative role with respect to the building's statics, thus fulfills a structural function as well as a spatial one, confirming the role of culture as a supporting element of everyday life.
