This Obika Mozzarella bar is located in the historic centre of Rome, in Piazza Campo de’ Fiori; one of the most lively and characteristic squares in Rome which forms part of a larger pedestrian area.
The structure of the space in which Obika is located is clear and simple: a rectangular space divided in two spaces by the presence of a dominating arch. This element allows on one side the creation of a more intimate and private space - in this case the Mozarella bar; and on the other side a zone with a dynamic and lively bar which is open towards the square and reacts to the specificity of the place. In this way it is possible to visually and physically connect the spaces, inside and outside, which is reinforced by the use of large glass surfaces in the facade, allowing a permanent continuity.
Entering from the main entrance an ideal background for the space is formed by a wall displaying at full height the wine collection.
